The Rank & File Podcast

Hosted by Kari Elizabeth Enge - Certified Life and Business Coach for Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurs at Rank & File

Adam Braun, the founder of the well-known nonprofit organization Pencils of Promise (PoP) and MissionU, and most recently the CEO of the coworking space WeWork, has told his powerful founder story many times, but he hasn’t always told it in exactly the same way — he learned early on what to include and not to include in order for it to stick into the hearts of his audience and move them to take action on his important causes.

Adam spoke with Rank & File back in 2016 about the importance of storytelling, saying all for-purpose companies should “have a narrative that relates back to the core mission and can be transferable from one person to the next.” He also shared several tips for crafting a narrative that will have an impact.

Our interview with Adam was so incredibly good that we included it in our “Best Of” Issue and are releasing the audio recording of it, from deep within the archives of Rank & File so that you can learn for yourself how to craft a compelling narrative for your own social good brand.

It’s all coming up on this episode of the Rank & File podcast with Adam Braun.

In Today’s podcast episode, you’ll learn:

  • How to create your quick pitch
  • How to find your “Holy Shit Story”
