For those of you who have been following along on Rank & File’s Instagram – you know that we just returned from Rank & File’s first Global Retreat to the Philippines!
The journey was a fantastic week of meeting local social entrepreneurs who invited us inside of their businesses for really a behind-the-scenes look at how they run them. It was so inspiring to spend this time away from the grind and the day-to-day to spend time with other like-minded founders. We had a great dialogue, where, founder to founder, we shared all of the practical ins and outs of running a social impact business.
Our group came away so inspired and fired-up ready for this year and so I wanted to invite one of the travelers Claire on to talk about the biggest lessons and aha moments she had on the retreat so that you can take that wisdom and apply it to your businesses this year as well.
You may remember Claire from Issue Eight of Rank & File Magazine – Claire is the founder of Madison Grace – is a women’s conscious lifestyle boutique dedicated to elevating your everyday life while you make an impact. She is going to tell you all about where she is at right now with developing this business and what she learned in the Philippines that really shifted everything for her.
In Today’s podcast episode, you’ll learn:
- Claire’s biggest lessons learned and ‘aha moments’ from traveling to the Philippines and how she is applying it to her business
- What being “Half Baked” in business means and how we can overcome it
- Why stepping out of the grind to be re-inspired can become a great business investment
