If you are an entrepreneur, you’ve probably experienced burnout.
Today, I’m talking all about my philosophy around burnout, why you’ve been thinking about burnout in the wrong way, and steps you can start taking to bust burnout once and for all as a purpose-driven entrepreneur.
I hear about burnout all the time. I hear it from entrepreneurs, big and small, that I follow on social media, I hear it from founders that I meet often…. And it’s become so prevalent in the entrepreneurial world that I’m even starting to see advice out there like, “You never completely get over burnout, but you learn how to manage it.”
And I have to disagree. While I agree that burnout is prevalent for entrepreneurs and that it’s a real problem. I don’t agree that it’s something that we manage, but never solve for.
I believe that burnout has a cause and when we address the root of that cause, we can eradicate it from our lives while still making a big impact and reaching all of our goals for our purpose-driven businesses.
I also believe that we CANNOT and WILL NOT continue growing our impact and income in a sustainable way with burnout lingering around (because the causes of burnout also cause a lot of other issues in our businesses).
So, if you are ready to get rid of burnout… if you are ready to stop feeling exhausted as an entrepreneur… if you’re tired of stress that builds and builds and then hits you over the head like a sledgehammer… Then this episode is for you.
And even if you don’t experience burnout – I still want you to really listen to this episode because other symptoms – like overwhelm, stress, depression, anxiety and physical pain or even unwanted coping behaviors can be all caused by the same root cause as burnout.
In This Episode You’ll Learn:
- What Burnout Really Is
- Why You Are Thinking About it All Wrong
- How Fix the Root Cause of Burnout
